The thing every mom asks

Kids welcome. Always. Ages 0–6.

No babysitter needed. No drop-off line. They’re part of the session — and they get to see their mom get strong.

0 – 9 months

Babies nap in carriers (or on a mat).

The newborns sleep through the session. If they wake up, you keep going — we just modify around the feed or the contact-nap. No one’s judging.

9 months – 3 years

Busy toddlers find entertainment.

Please bring toys or snacks and whatever your toddler needs to keep busy throughout our session.

3 – 6 years

Big kids ‘help’ with reps.

Big kids love to mimic your movements — this is the time to show them the importance of moving your body.

Mommy, it’s time to go be a strong girl.

— my 3-year-old daughter

A note from Lexi

Macungie, PA

I'm not training you to bounce back.
I'm training you forward.

I built Babies and Barbells because the Lehigh Valley didn’t have what I needed when I was pregnant with my first — a coach who’d treat me like an athlete who happens to be pregnant, not a fragile thing who happens to want to move.

If you’re tired of being treated like you’re fragile, this is your place. If you want a workout that fits around a fussy baby and a real life, you’re in the right inbox.

Strength training for moms—by one of you.

Hey—I’m Lexi. I know how hard it is to find time for you between feedings and nap schedules. That’s why my Macungie and Allentown classes aren’t just workouts—they’re your social lifeline.

Your newborn watches from the mat, your toddler becomes your favorite “dumbbell,” and you get to move again. We focus on rebuilding core strength and confidence, all while your little ones play safely nearby. No childcare stress, just progress.

Honest comparison · who this is for

Babies and Barbells isn't for everyone — and that's the point.

Not me

What I'm not.

  • “Mommy yoga”

Stretching is great. It's not strength. You won't carry a 30-lb toddler with confidence from a downward dog.

  • “Bounce-back” Instagram fitness

Promises a pre-baby body in 6 weeks. Ignores diastasis. Sells you a $400 PDF and a body-shame complex.

Yes — this is me

What I am.

  • Program paced to your specific body's needs

Programming shaped to your stage and your body. The only one like it in the Lehigh Valley.

  • Real strength training

Dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells where appropriate. Modified per trimester or postpartum stage.

  • Honest about pace

Postpartum is a year, not 6 weeks. Pregnancy is a build, not a hold. Both get programmed accordingly.

Translation

I’m a real coach, in a real room (or your real living room), for moms who want real strength.

In Lexi's own words · 1 minute

If you're looking to pump some iron or pump some milk, let's get together.

That's how she ends the 72-second pitch. The whole thing is in her voice — what the program is, how it works, why an NASM-CPT and pre/postnatal certified mom of two drives to your living room.

The receipts · From the founder

Four things that don't fit on a price card.

What “NASM-certified” actually means when Lexi shows up for your first session. Four pillars, four receipts, all verifiable.

I.On credentials

Two real certs.

Current. Verifiable.

NASM-CPT + Pre/Postnatal Certified.

Personal-training credential through NASM, plus a separate pregnancy and postpartum certification through a different organization. Continuing-ed every two years on both.

See both certs
II.On trust

Fully insured.

COI on request.

Full liability + certificate of insurance.

Professional and general liability for every in-home session. Certificate of insurance sent before your first visit if your building or HOA needs it on file.

III.On the session

She brings the gym.

Setup: 90 seconds.

Mat, dumbbells, kettlebell, bands.

Drives to your living room, garage, backyard, or local park. The kid-safe zone sits next to the mat. You stay in the house. Your baby stays in your sightline.

IV.On lived experience

Two pregnancies.

Two recoveries.

Mom of two — recently.

There's a difference between a coach who's read about diastasis and a coach who's checked her own. Both pregnancies, both postpartum recoveries, in the same Lehigh Valley body now coaching yours.

Lexi Krieger, NASM-CPT and pre/postnatal certified coach

None of this is on the price card.

In-home 1-on-1
Postpartum I was very self conscious about my body and wasn't sure where to start. Lexi held some personal training classes for me in the comfort of my home. Not only did I lose 20 lbs but I felt stronger all while bonding with my newborn. The class difficulty is for all levels and can easily be modified for re-beginners like me. I would recommend these wor…

Lexi has tremendous empathy for what moms go through pregnant and postpartum. She gets it. The diastasis check at the first session was the first time anyone actually screened me — and she walked me through exactly what to do (and what to avoid) for the next few months. Highly r…

FAQs from the DMs

The five most-asked.

Mom · asked

Is barbell training safe during pregnancy?

2:10 PM

Mom

Lexi · replied

Yes — with OB clearance and the right modifications. The pre/postnatal certification I hold exists for exactly this. We don't max out, we don't do supine work after 20 weeks, and load is adjusted by trimester. Most clients keep training until 38-40 weeks.

2:11 PM

Mom · asked

Do you check for diastasis recti? What about pelvic floor?

2:11 PM

Mom

Lexi · replied

If you feel your abdominal separation is hindering your movement, we can check you and create a plan to still build strength. If anything flags outside my scope, I refer you to a local pelvic-floor PT.

2:12 PM

Mom · asked

Do you train in-home in Saucon Valley, Center Valley, and Coopersburg?

2:12 PM

Mom

Lexi · replied

Yes. I drive to your living room across Saucon Valley, Center Valley, Coopersburg, Lower Macungie, Salisbury Township, Bethlehem Township, and Emmaus. I bring the mat, dumbbells, kettlebells, and bands — setup is under 90 seconds.

2:13 PM

Mom · asked

What if my baby cries the whole session?

2:13 PM

Mom

Lexi · replied

Totally expected. Step away to soothe, feed, snuggle — and rejoin whenever. Babies welcome newborn through age 6, in both Macungie/Allentown group classes and in-home 1-on-1 sessions. No babysitter needed.

2:14 PM

Mom · asked

How much does it cost?

2:14 PM

Mom

Lexi · replied

Pricing varies based on program type, such as virtual or in person. Let's connect to find the perfect plan that's within your budget. Full pricing.
